A few weeks go my parents told me that they wanted to come for a visit. We were so excited! So after looking at dates, they landed on this last weekend. They were here from Thurs-Sunday, and despite my assurance that there probably wouldn't be any snow here when they came, it dumped the night before and we had a winter wonderland through out their entire visit.

In the end, the snow as a good thing, as Grandma made snow angels and a snow women w us, and even had a little snowball fight. We went swimming at their hotel too, and had fun with climbing on Grandpa, visiting our favourite kids museum, eating out, visiting some nice areas here, and just having them in our home. We love them and were so glad for the visit!






We got doubly lucky too when our friend's Tarryn and Hayden made a pit stop to visit us while they were in town visiting her family. It was so fun being able to catch up on the happenings with our friends at home, and talk about the books we've been reading together, all while Hayden wore the kids out wrestling and having an indoor snowball fight haha. I think all our friends need to just move wherever we do until Lester's done with medical school. Its only right haha.

Now, we are once again back into the routine of things. It was hard to say goodbye to our friends and family, but nice knowing we will see them in the summer and better yet, see my Mom again in two weeks when she comes back to help me during recovery from my surgery.
