It is now March. Which is nuts. I always mean to write about my thoughts and feelings, but in the end, I get busy and talk through them or write them down in a physical journey. Maybe some day that will chance-maybe it won't-who knows! But regardless, here are some high lights of things in our life since Christmas time.

-New Years. We took the kids to museums [we do this on a lot of weekends. We think it's important, and the kids waffle between absolutely LOVING it and sometimes being bored haha. This one was in the middle for them haha.] Then after running around Seattle a bit, we drove home and made a bunch of different hor' devours for dinner. I had each kids pick and help me make 2 and it ended up being a lot of fun one on one time with each of them. Excited for the coming year.

-Lunar New Year. We went back to Seattle to try to catch some fun events. Bit over crowded, but still fun, and then we did a few activities at home.

-Tal's 2nd birthday. Everything was so full of joy which is great bc I had to actively not look at it as too bittersweet with her being our last little. We made cake, opened presents and I took her to a kids museum while the kids were at school. We love our rough and tumble, joyful little girl. She truly is a light at the end of what was a long tunnel.

-Valentines Day. The kids school actually had a family dance planned which was perfect bc we weren't feeling to motivated to do more then send cards and candy with the kids to school, and make a yummy dessert. We were a bit shocked by how large the turn out was, but we had a lot of fun and it was cool seeing their kids with so many friends, and to meet some other parents in the area.

-Of course, lots of baking and cooking and yummy experiments. It wouldn't be us if there wasn't haha!

-Lots of museums, zoos, aquariums, parks, farmers markets, library days to Seattle and local fun. Lester's schedule has been AMAZING the last month or so, and we've been living for these weekends and trying to make the most of it while we can.

.....and of course, lots of regular life stuff, like chores & school, errands & appointments, art & reading, homework & cuddles and more wintery weather. I know I over post pictures and sometimes details...my memory is always so bad though, and THESE are all the things I want to remember. I'm so grateful for pictures and words that take me back when I need a boost and a chance to reflect on things.

Happy the weather is getting better and brighter. I'm surprised how much of a difference that can actually make in life. Any ways-good things coming, and we are doing well.
