Thanksgiving and Other Fun at Home

In the course of the next few weeks we were able to do alot more good for the soul type of things. We spent some more time with Lester, as he finished up his time in Fresno and were also able to enjoy a week in Sacramento. It was nice to have cousin time for the kids without having to rush through it, and be able check out things that my sisters love about where they live and learn about their interests. Especially while I also was able to share mine! We got to go to various parks and food places they like, do tea parties and art projects, beaches and fun projects with the kids. We had messy chalk drawing and playing the bog/mud days, and nights watching Dramas [Crash Landing on You-best ever!] and Marvel movies.

I was able to get together with a friends for a Friendsgiving with our spouses and kids, do some zoo play dates, Hannakuh get togethers, park meet ups, hikes and Thanksgiving parties.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving, starting with a fun morning at the Academy with family, and then switching between our parents house for 2 feasts as per the norm. It was fun being able to visit with those who were in town, and eat all the delicious foods. And of course, to celebrate my FIL's bday before we headed out to watch Encanto in the evening.

Once in town for a good long stretch, we indulged some of the kids wants and did things they were interested in like the Exploratorium, a Muni bus ride [like in 'Shang Chi' haha], rode BART to the Ferry to take a boat ride across the bay to Marin to meet up for lunch with my inlaws, the Botanical Gardens, Conservatory of Flowers, Japanese Tea Gardens and Academy. We even rode the beautiful gigantic Ferris Wheel they have in Golden Gate Park one night while it was all lit up, ending the night with dancing on stage in the park. We've had decorating nights with both sets of Grandparents for Christmas, pillow fights and game playing days, farmers markets days and more.

And of course, all of this is in the midst of trying to do school from home while we are away. The kids have risen to the occasion so far, and apart from the awesome resources and help their teachers have given us, I have found it easy to supplement with all the fun, educational things museums and activities we've been doing. The best part is, we still have a few more weeks to have fun together with friends and family and the most beautiful place in the world!
