Tis The Season To Be Jolly!

So far, this 2013 Christmas season has been wonderful! I keep thinking about this time last year, and reminiscing on how even though it was hard, it was good for the three of us to cling to each other and experience being away from home. It definitely had its ups and downs, but I will always remember that Christmas as bringing us closer to each other and to our Savior whose birth we celebrate at this time. I am grateful for this. Plus, it make us even more appreciative for the things we are enjoying now that we ARE home for Christmas! And with a cute kiddo who is able to really experience the magic of Christmas for the first time, all truly is merry and bright!
We have been indulging ourselves in Christmas activities-things like parties with families and friends, visits to the Christmas Cresh, light displays at the temple and in the city-and of course the fun of holiday shopping at the mall. We have been keeping up with our holiday baking, listening to Christmas tunes non stop, and methodically hitting every holiday movie on our list. We still have some more of these things to look forward to as well, like gingerbread houses, frosting sugar cookies, ice skating, making candy leis and the actual holiday celebrations as well. For once, I don't feel like there hasn't been enough time this season, or visa versa-it is seeming just right time.
I hope everyone else is enjoying their holiday season as much as we are. Life is to short not to cherish these moments.
