Good Life

Our turkey day was great! Filled with two separate thanksgiving dinners, lots of family and friends, and all sorts of other good stuff. I personally enjoyed the homemade rolls and dessert, and Luke clearly enjoyed the sparkling cider which he binged on. The week leading up to the holiday was filled with fun as well, as my Mom and Luke were off of school and able to help entertain our little spitfire of a girl. Good times!
We did check out the black friday shopping with my family the next day while Lester was at work. By the time we got out there, it wasn't to bad at all, and we were able to get a few good deals, which was awesome in helping me prepare for some of my little families new Christmas traditions. We were even able to take Addy to the tide pools on Saturday for the first time over in Moss Beach, which was awesome. Of course, she tried to run around like she owned the place, but with all the sea life we had to curb that a bit. It amazes me how much energy she has these days. She's so enthusiastic about everything and its fun to watch her face when she discovered something new, like the fun in making rock piles or sticking her fingers into a sea anemone and feeling the suction as it tries to digest her fingers haha.
Over all, it was a great week or two and we are LOVE love loving life. We have lots of fun things planned for this Christmas season, and I am excited for all of us to delve in even further. We have had the tree up and decorated since the day after thanksgiving, and presents are under and being prepared. Life is good-but then, isn't it always around Christmas?
