Spring Things

We have sprung for spring! Perhaps a bit early, but when you live by beaches, sunshine and beautiful cliffs, its a bit hard to keep that Spring rejuvenation feeling at bay.
We've been taking a lot beach trips, little walks, and getting outside basically every time we possibly can, even if it is just in backyards or parking lots.
Today, we topped it all off with a morning Easter egg hunt and potluck lunch with a bunch of Moms and kids in our ward. Everything was great, from the turn out to the food. Most of the kids are about Addy's age, and the few older kids that were there were wonderful about helping the little ones figure it all out [as this was most of their first times]. Once again, we are going to try to get as much into the festivities of this holiday as the others, while still teaching her the true meaning of each holiday...
which shouldn't be hard since we are feeling so overwhelmed with gratitude for the lives we have, and the new beginnings that are coming in our little family. Spring is all about resurrection and new life-and I know I am feeling that. But more on that another time, for sure!
